Water

The County of San Diego works in many ways to safeguard and improve our region’s water quality. By initiating Project Clean Water, the County created a forum to educate residents and businesses about stormwater pollution and regional water management. The County monitors the health of our beaches, bays, rivers and harbors, posting closure alerts when necessary; regulates groundwater quality; and supervises and tests small water provider systems.
